Build Your Own Breuer Chair

I originally, several years ago, bought one chair to see if it would be the right height and comfortable with my kitchen table. It was great so I ordered 3 more. Later, I ordered 2 more to tie in with my adjacent dining room table. Recently, I purchased 2 for my table in my apartment. They are great. They look fantastic and are unusually comfortable. My husband is 6’3” and he has a hard time finding sturdy comfortable chairs. I can’t say enough good things about these chairs. I guess that’s apparent since I wound up purchasing 8 of them eventually. This company is excellent. In a time when it is difficult to find quality, I am continually impressed by their product. Plus, they look really high end and I think they are extremely well priced. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I’ve ordered three of these chairs in cane seat and cane back. All three have come fully assembled and without issue. The chair is a great bargain. Customer service from Seats and Stools had to contact me about a shipping question and did so in a professional and efficient manner. Will definitely use this vendor if I need extra Breuer chairs.

Beyond my expectations, very happy with the quality of the chair I ordered. Will definitely be ordering from Seatsandstools in the future and will recommend to others!

This is my third order for custom made side chairs. I have four blue chairs in the kitchen. I loved them so much that I thought why not get another two. The chairs feel just right. I designed them to match two vintage oak and leather mid century chairs with black leather seats. They look fabulous together. I am so pleased with the style and workmanship. Everyone loves the comfortable seating. Highly recommend this company. One other remark. They are packaged and shipped in a very protective container.

My husband is thrilled with these chairs after enduring years of uncomfortable seating at my house before we married -- my design aesthetic (and thriftiness) always prevailed over comfort. Now, finally -- chairs we agree on for design AND comfort! These chairs are sturdy, quality craftsmanship that will last a lifetime. The jade fabric cleans easily too. We just went ahead and purchased 5 more after our "test" order of a single chair.

Beautiful, gorgeous chair. Clean, no scratches, perfect bounce.. the walnut surrounding the cane is of high craftsmanship, exposed dovetail style joints at the corners are perfectly smooth to the touch.

I couldn't be happier with these beautiful, well-contructed Breuer chairs! I LOVE THEM! thank you Seats and Stools. You have a customer for life!

They are sturdy and solid, well made, and have all of the finish details you hope for in a Breuer piece. I couldn't be happier. They were worth the wait!

Perfect chairs, excellent packaging--so comfortable. Thank you!

I was an employee in Breuer's office in Manhattan from 1967 - 19 70. he was a great architect and funny and inspiring to work with/ned cherry, r.a. (New Mexico)

Have coveted for years. All as expected. Delivery timely considering pandamic issues. Great price. Look great.

They came all assembled in perfect shape. Very comfortable padded seats.

We have looked for a long time for Breuer Chairs to replace our kitchen chairs. These are beautiful, reasonably priced, comfortable, and customized exactly as we requested.

I was hesitant to wait so long for this chair, but wow - the quality has far exceeded my expectations. Cant wait to order more. I love the concept of being able to replace parts to this chair. Very sustainable.

I ordered a total of 4 customized Breuer Cesca armchairs. First I only ordered 1, so I could be sure I liked my customization and I also wanted to be certain the chairs were comfortable. I loved the way the first one came out so I ordered 3 more for my kitchen. Not only do they look great, they are extremely comfortable. All 4 chairs are perfect. The workmanship is excellent. I could not be more pleased with my purchase! Thank you!

Absolutely love our Breuer chairs! We ordered cane backs with black vinyl corded seats, and the materials are very nice quality (the vinyl is a leather-look). I did a lot of research on customized chairs and these seemed to be the best quality for the most reasonable price. The chairs did not disappoint! We experienced shipping delays due to Covid, and I wish we had received more proactive updates from Seats and Stools (I ended up having to call customer service multiple times). Other than that, I would highly recommend Seats and Stools. These chairs were worth the wait!

I just received and ate my first meal on my breur chairs, and they are a dream come true. The shipping was fast and transparent (once built) and the support system from this team was wonderful. The quality is perfect and I can't stop starting at them!

After speaking directly with the maker, I purchased 4 charcoal fabric Breuer Cesca Chairs without cording. Frame is sturdy and fabric will probably outlast me! Superb cushions and stitching are an added bonus. Also have received many compliments. Thank you Seats and Stools!

I love the Breuer chair. I had the chair customized (build your own chair) to suit my preferences and needs. It looks terrific and is extremely comfortable. Now I plan on ordering 3 more to make a set. Could not be happier!

We are really happy with the chairs. They look really nice with our walnut dining table. They are excellent quality, very comfortable and look great! Also, the customer service was excellent.

After hours of online searching for chairs that came close to matching my mother's chairs from when she lived in Holland, the Breuer chair came closest. However the prices I initially found were prohibitive. Then I found Seats and Stools. Simple ordering process. The chairs arrived yesterday and looked even better than imagined. Super comfortable and they are sturdy, built to last. Thank you Seats and Stools!

Love these chairs, better than expected. Seems to be well made. Also super fast shipping.

Very good

Very comfortable. Look great.

I bought 2 more chairs to match the 6 chairs that I have owned and replaced seats and backs on for 40 years. They are a good match. Classics are worth owning and the new ones look just as good as the old ones!

We did a custom chair with a honey oak finish, cane on the upper portion and wood bottom with inset medium brown vinyl. They are so light and incredibly comfortable. Absolutely love them!

We had to wait a few weeks because the seats we selected had to be built. We are delighted with them. The chairs are comfortable, attractive, and a good value. If you’re looking to get a Breuer cesca chair, you can’t go wrong with this one.

We have had six of the Breuer Chairs for several years. Now are up to fourteen and know these will last just as long. Comfortable, great looking, easy to care for....

I am so glad I continued to click around and landed on these classic chairs at affordable prices. Shipping was fast and packaged "just right" without miles of materials for the recycle. I love knowing I can add more chairs that will match perfectly if I decide to move the table out from the wall. No vintage "quirks" here--sagging cane, etc. Proud to have them and offer friends a seat.

Have bought these chairs for years. Love the contemporary design, solid construction, seating comfort and the ability to build your own. In a culture of cheaply made, throw-away products, Breuer has figured out what many of us want - and will pay for.

These chairs are exactly what I needed for a gathering area in my family room. It goes well with my existing very old golden oak trestle table. The design lends a bit of bounce/rock which makes them even more comfortable. Quite a bit heavier than I expected. I think the price was reasonable and the chairs came by FedEx six days after I placed the order.
